Vintage original 27x41 in. US single-sided lenticular advance one-sheet poster from the smash 2000's horror thriller drama, FINAL DESTINATION, released in 2000 by New Line Cinema and directed by James Wong. After a teenager has a terrifying vision of him and his friends dying in a plane crash, he prevents the accident only to have Death hunt them down, one by one.

The poster offered here is from the original film that spawned this hugely-successful horror franchise and it is a rare lenticular advance (or "teaser") one-sheet poster, which was issued for display at theaters before the film was released. It was printed on a thicker mylar-type stock, and not only produces an amazing 3-D effect but also allows for the image to literally change before your eyes as you move from one side to the other--watch as death comes to claim all five of the teenagers who escaped it! Lenticular posters were printed in much smaller quantities than the regular and advance one-sheets, as they are far more costly to produce. PLEASE NOTE that photographs aren't able to capture the true 3-D effect and accurately represent what this lenticular one-sheet looks like when seen in person--it's a really cool visual sight and the colors are much better in person as well.

This vintage original lenticular advance-one-sheet poster is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, scratches, or other flaws. It will be professionally shipped rolled in a sturdy tube to prevent damage while in transit.

The story was originally the concept for an abandoned The X-Files (1993) television script, which was inspired by Sole Survivor (1984). The numerous appearances of "180" in the film refer to the film's original title of Flight 180. New Line decided to rename the film Final Destination through fear of confusion of other films like Air Force One (1997) or Con Air (1997). The original casting choices for Alex and Clear were Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. Both actors would later star in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002-2007) as Spider-Man and Mary Jane, respectively.
