Modern unsigned Shin hanga Japanese Woodblock Print of Man in blue hat

Undated - not signed

This modern & Shin-hanga print shows a man (likely a Kabuki actor) in a large blue straw hat. The image is absolutely bright and clear, and I'm assuming due to the condition of the paper, this particular print is from the later years of Shin-hanga, 1946-1950s.

The blues are very bright indeed as is the white of the man's face which is more pale than the white of his eyes. Very well done!

Dimensions:
The image size is 2.5" square on a card that is 5.5"T x 3.625"W

Condition Notes VG estate condition with some toning as shown in our photographs. Light indentations in the paper. Very bright colors Note that the line down the front of the card looks as if it could be from burning due to bad storage, with something else being placed on top of the card that only partially blocked the sunlight (maybe it was stored in someone's attic?) I see a few indentations in the lower quarter of the card that do not effect the visual beauty of the image.
