A fascinating travel work documenting the author's experiences travelling in Norway and Sweden at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
Illustrated with ten folding plates and eight plates.
Collated, complete. However plate facing page 360 is lacking the top third of the plate, thus lacking the folding part.
Half-title is present.
Written by Henri Twining.
CONDITION
In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the boards. A little fading to the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Label to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with some spots.
