A new Standard Products AL-4K Ignition Coil that I got at an auction of vintage car parts.  This is a 12V coil that is used with an external resistor.  The coil is stamped "AMPCO" so Standard must have repacked this in their box.

According to my Standard catalog, this is equivalent to Mopar part nos. 2084847 and 2095223 and is for use on:
  • CHRYSLER  (1956-63: eight cylinder)
  • DE SOTO  (1957-61: eight cylinder)
  • DODGE including Dart and 1961 Lancer (1959-63: eight cylinder;  1963: six cylinder;  1958: Custon and Royal Station Wagon six cylinder;  Corona and Royal eight cylinder;  1956: eight cylinder models with Distributor IBJ-4301A)
  • PACKARD  (1955-56: eight cylinder)
  • PLYMOUTH 8-CYL  (1959-63: all;  1958: all Gold. Com;  all with Distributors IBP-4003, IBP-4003A, IBP-4003B, IBP-4003C, IBF-4003D, and IBP-4003F;  1957: all with Distributor IBS-4003)
  • PLYMOUTH 6-CYL  (1962: all with Chrysler Distributors;  1961: all)
