Late 1800's Pocket Scale Believed for Doctor Use!

The scale is in an approximate 5¼" x 2¼" x ½". It contains a small hanging scale with two weights. Each weight is marked with numbers and a hallmark.

It is my believe that this scale was made specifically for doctors in the days when doctors made house calls and mixed medicines for their patients "on the spot". The numbers on each weight have no cross or match to standard weight measurements. I believe that they actually relates to measurements that doctors would use in making up the medicines that they would be prescribing or giving to the patient.
