PATTERN PLACEMENT

Lampshades are handmade so by their nature, no two will be the same.

If you want identical, please ask, I will do my best to accommodate but it will cost a little more.

Pattern placement is random. If you have a specific request, please contact me before you order, and I’ll let you know if it’s possible.

MADE TO ORDER

Because all products are made to order, no two will be identical and take a little longer to arrive than off-the-shelf items.

Your item will be unique, professionally created for you to the highest standard. With decades of experience, you can be confident of the quality of your purchase.

BENEFITS OF BUYING HANDMADE

Unlike most mass-produced lampshades, I hand make lampshades using fire retardant (conforming to British Safety regulations) PVC, which is thicker, less prone to creasing, has anti-yellowing properties and is anti-static. I hand roll the edges and seam so there are no unsightly raw edges.

PVC options are: white, clear, textured champagne, textured gold, brushed gold and brushed silver. Contact me for a quote for options not advertised.

White lining allows more light to diffuse through the lampshade.

Coloured linings reduce the amount of light diffused – light glows from the top, and bottom and any pattern has less light diffused through it.

LAMPSHADE HOLDER INFORMATION

Lampshade utility fittings – shown in photos – fit standard UK and EU lamps - Bayonet cap or Edison screw cap.

Fitted with a lampshade reducer /adapter / converter: 1 x E27/E26 to B22/E14

Utility fitting diameters are 27mm with the converter and 42mm without the converter.

USA harp fittings, if not listed, are available on request.     

20cm, 30cm and 40cm have metal harp frames.                                                     

All other diameter frames come with converters from UK to US fitting.

Low energy bulbs (LED) must be used with your lampshade.

Lower wattage bulbs reduce the amount of light diffused through any pattern.

RETURNS / EXCHANGE

Each item is bespoke and made to order therefore returns / exchanges are not accepted.

Please check the size and orientation (table or ceiling fitting) prior to order, incorrect fitting or size CANNOT be altered, returned or exchanged.

If you need help choosing the correct size, please contact me prior to purchase.

DAMAGE/LOSS

If lost or damaged, please contact me immediately for instructions.

In the UK not all shipping rates are the same, if you do not live on the mainland, I reserve the right to invoice for additional (reasonable) shipping.
