Lacy Phacelia grows fast and is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, but it is now used in many places in agriculture as a cover crop, a bee plant, an attractant for other beneficial insects, and an ornamental plant. It attracts pollinators such as honey bees and butterflies.

It is also attractive to hoverflies (family Syrphidae), which are useful as biological pest control agents because they eat aphids and other pests. This is an annual herb which grows erect to a maximum height near 100 centimeters.

Should you need more than an 8th of an ounce, shoot me an email and I will make a special listing just for you same day. I have an excessive amount of these flower seeds. They are fresh (2020) and I would like to keep them that way so low quote price requests for more of these flowers are encouraged and welcome!

Prefers sandy soil. Lacy phacelia performs well in many soil types, but grows best in fertile, acidic, light-textured, and well-draining soils.

For propagating by seed: Sow outdoors in late fall or germinate indoors if you would rather, keeping temperatures cool: 60°-70°F. Place seeds underneath just enough soil to ensure the sunlight isn't hitting the seeds (seeds 1/4 an inch down, covered). Once germinated indoors transplant outdoors.
