Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the 1920's silent film drama/romance, THE YOUNG RAJAH, released in 1922 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Phil Rosen. Rudolph Valentino stars as a young man raised in the American South who discovers he is really an Indian prince whose throne was taken by usurpers.

The image features a beautiful interior full-length shot of handsome Yale University student Amos Judd (Rudolph Valentino) wearing a Middle Eastern outfit with a feathered turban as he stands with his arms crossed. The quality of the lighting creates an almost ethereal image of Valentino which is emphasized by the strong side-lighting on the left side of his face. A facsimile of his signature appears near the lower right corner.

Printed most likely in the 1950's, it is in near-fine condition with creases on the top right corner; a smudge of blue ink in the center of the top border that goes into the background area; and small creases on the bottom corners. The image quality is sharp with nice detail and great contrast.
