Red Giant Oil  was a family business founded back in 1910 in Council Bluffs Iowa.

The company initially produced oil products marketed to farmers for their tractors and other equipment. The company went on to be one of the, if not the largest supplier of diesel oil to the railroad industry in the united states.

This sample case is a throwback to the companies beginnings, when their sales representatives called on prospective clients to make them aware of their product line.

The sample case carries a complete set of samples offered at the time.
