This is an 1895 South Carolina official document appointing a J.W. Bowman as Lieutenant of the Volunteer Troops, -- Tillman Volunteers. It is signed by then governor John Gary Evans. It is also signed by John Gary Tillman, Adjutant and Inspector General. Dimensions: 15" x 13".
