A collection of poetry and letters by Henry Wotton, with Izaak Walton's 'Lives', a biography on George Villiers.
Of the twenty-five poems in 'Reliquiae Wottonianae', fifteen of them are written by Wotton.
These two works were first published together in 1651.
Henry Wotton was an author, diplomat, and politician. He sat in the House of Commons for eleven years.
CONDITION
Rebound in a cloth binding. Externally, smart. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are age-toned with some scattered spots. Worming to pages.
