Similar to dolls shown on the cover of, "Identifying German Parian Dolls"-Krombholz, and in detail on page 46, is this gorgeous, large, artist reproduction, parian bisque (unglazed china) adult female shoulderhead doll with wonderful, lady-like cloth body, parian bisque slender arms and legs with black garter ribbons and molded and painted, high-heel boots with buttons. She stands, 16" tall, with beautiful early molded blond hair style with lots of curls gathered at the top and held with a molded, black beaded crown to match her black molded necklace with iron cross and outlined bodice. She has a wonderful, finely molded and painted, ruffled blouse with mauve pink ruching and deeply molded, thick blond curly hair with exposed ears, blond eyebrows, pink lid lines, eye corner and nostril circles, lovely blue eyes, pretty cheek blush and mouth. (hard to read (Stewart?) signature on back) She wears an exquisite, two-piece, fitted soft green silk, gown with "V" waist, 3/4 sleeves, lined bodice, embroidered neckline, cuffs and waistline, ruffled lace trim and finely pleated hemline over the finest, lace trimmed pantaloons and petticoat. (loc 33) She is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or hairlines, no repairs or stains, no holes, tears or odors and from a smoke free home.
