Lucky Craft Lures – Since 1992

On their packaging, Lucky Craft has a tag line that says the company is all about “Fishing and Dreams.” No one has exhibited that more than Skeet Reese, who recently nailed his second Elite Series win of the year at Guntersville.  Lucky Craft evolved in 1992 out of a Japanese manufacturing company that specialized in popular toy robots. They first got into the lure business as the Japanese manufacturer for Daiwa lures, and when Daiwa took their business to Indonesia, starting with the Japanese market.  In many ways, they paved the way for other Japanese lure companies to enter the US market, by creating a reputation for high-quality baits with unusual color offerings.  The Japan-only lineup features many of the lures that American fishermen will recognize from their tackle box, along with some strange creatures from fan-tailed goldfish to giant bugs.
