Fully forged and precision engineered Aerospace Grade Titanium with rolled threads, will significantly reduce weight when compared to stock bolts.
All Ti bolts are made to exacting standards using the following procedures and
specifications.
The length of the bolt quoted the length of the thread ,not the total length ;
The Head is forged and then CNC machined.
A Taper head form is applied to further reduce mass without compromising strength.
The threads are rolled onto the bolt shaft to reduce stress raising areas caused by machined threads used on some bolts.
The finished part is anodised blue to give an attractive and durable finish.
Please note that blue anodised titanium parts are not an exact colour match for all blue anodised aluminium components.
Compliant with relevant standards, Deutsches Institut Fur Normung (DIN) with regard to dimensions, thread and tolerances.
