Vogue Petite Score Boxed Pads / Table Markers for Bridge, box is 3
1/8 inches square, table pads are 2 5/8 inches square, box is marked “The
Vogue, Petite Score, 4 Tables”, inside back cover of pads are marked “The Buzza
Co., Craftacres, Mpls., U.S.A., T 600”, probably early 1900’s, box is in poor
condition with wear to edges, scuffing to top, tag damage to bottom, broken
edge corners to both top and bottom, glue repairs to bottom sides, damage to
paper covering cardboard, 3 pads are missing pencils, while the box shows heavy
wear, inside the Bridge Table Pads were protected and are in very nice
condition except for the missing pencils, never used with full pads, the covers
have cut corners like the box and have beautiful lithography of Art Deco
ladies, each pad is different with the table number printed on the cover from
One to Four, very festive designs with gold highlights, inside pad cover has
Auction Bridge points printed on each, inside back cover has “Five Hundred”
with Tricks, the back covers are plain, Pad Four has the original unused pencil
marked “J.S. Staedtler – Bavaria” with a celluloid top and a metal ring for
attaching to the silk cord on the pad, the others still have their
cords but no pencil on the end, an unusual and attractive Bridge collectible.
