Vintage original Revised Final Script from the 1970's made-for-television motion picture comedy, WOMAN OF THE YEAR, produced in 1976 by Paramount Television Productions and directed by Jud Taylor. This TV movie remake of the original 1942 version directed by George Stevens (which was the first film that co-starred Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn) shares that film's title and credits its screenwriter, Garson Kanin. The story of the marriage of a gruff sportswriter and a sophisticated international reporter who work together on the same newspaper. The cast includes Joseph Bologna, Renée Taylor, Dick O'Neill, Anthony Holland, Richard Bakalyan, Chuck Bergansky, Hugh Downs, George Gaynes, and Leon Belasco.

Written by cast members Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna and writer Bernard Kahn, this Revised Final Script is dated January 3, 1975. It consists of 121 pages on white stock with various revisions on white stock and blue stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between and white cardstock front and back cover. We believe this particular script belonged to cast member Chuck Bergansky, as "For the love of Rizzo" (the name of his character) is handwritten on the top of the front cover. Handwritten on the top of the back cover is the name of cast member "Dick Bakalyan," along with his name, telephone number, and address in Beverly Hills, California (which perhaps indicated that the two actors rehearsed together or were in contact about their characters for the script itself). It is complete in overall very fine condition with the phrase  with a small tear and light signs of wear along the edges with a few light smudges in the bottom of the white area; handwritten notes on the top right corner of the title page; and random signs of wear and discoloration on the back cover.
