There are over 50 pieces of mixed vintage fabric scraps here. Some of them date back to the thirties.

The smallest pieces are roughly 2cm and the largest about 10cm. All different shapes and sizes.

They come in a cellophane bag 13 x13cm and make the sweetest little gift.

It’s from quilts and cushions etc that I used to make.

Some pieces I’ve dyed to get the perfect shade.

It’s clean and ironed and I’ve left some of the edges rough.

I’ve made patchwork quilts, lavender hearts, cushions and much over the years, much of it for the Cath Kidston shops and other shops including my own in Crouch End North London.

No scraps however small are thrown away as they’re precious and some are very rare, so these lovely pieces firm new little collections of unique loveliness.

I’m besotted by the colours and designs of old floral fabric and I love bringing it back to life. Every little piece has its own history and it’s very special.

The pieces are all rescued from damaged dresses, aprons, curtains, American feedbacks, French bedding, tablecloths and more.

I’ve been collecting it for over 20 years and the passion never stops.
