013B/480 - STAN LAUREL Signed Photograph from 1913, Signed Stan Jefferson. A rare b&w 8" x 10" photograph of a very young Stan Laurel, signed by Stan Jefferson 1913 on the front in black ink. Laurel was born Arthur Stanley Jefferson in Lancashire, England, in 1890. In 1910, he joined Fred Karno's acting troupe, where he was an understudy to Charlie Chaplin and toured the U.S. for the first time. The date on the photograph places it during the early, pre-Laurel and Hardy era.
This item would look absolutely fantastic framed and placed on display.
