* Jean Herblet *
Jean Herblet immigrated to France from Russia with his family when he was a young boy. He settled in Paris after World War1 and became a prolific artist well known for his watercolors and hand colored etchings of dogs getting into mischief and he signed these images using his real name Borris O'klein. He used the pseudonym Jean Herblet when he created serious animal subjects in a more clasiical style from his humourous images. He was very prolific from the 1930' to the 1950's and his images are known and appreciated all over the world.
