All 14 books have wear to the top and bottoms of the spine.With some wear to the board corners.   Spines are strong and pages are clean

I can not locate  date in these books, I am guessing late 1800's - but that is a guess

St Ronan's Well - white spot on lower corner of front board and dent in center top of front board
