THIS IS THE NEWEST 4K VERSION OF THE Technomate TM-RF HD Modulator in 4K with 9V IR Infra-Red.

Technomate has now introduced the first 4K HDMI modulator with the latest 9V IR version.
The Technomate TM-RF HD IR 4K has 9V Infra-Red over the same coaxial cable so that you can control your source from another TV. It also has an HDMI Loop-through to split the video to a local TV, saving on the cost and space of a 2-way HDMI Splitter.

4K HDMI 2.0 Input & Loop-Through:

The TM-RF HD IR 4K can accept an HDMI signal up to 4K60 4:4:4 HDR, HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 and it will pass this same 4K signal on the HDMI loop-out so that you have the original 4K video/audio signal on the HDMI output (for example, when connecting to a 4K TV).

The modulator will then downscale the 4K resolution to 1080p only on the RF output for your coaxial cable system*.

With current 1080p HDMI modulators, if you are using a source device that supports 4K (such as SkyQ, CCTV DVR/NVR, etc), the modulator cannot support a 4K HDMI input, therefore you have to reduce your source device’s HDMI resolution to 1080p or you have to buy a separate down-scaler device. The all-in-one TM-RF HD IR 4K will accept a 4K HDMI input and has a down-scaler built-in.

In an example install scenario, you may have a mixture of 4K and 1080p TVs. For your 4K TV, you want to watch in 4K so you can connect the HDMI loopout of the modulator to this TV and the other TVs you can use the RF output of the modulator and connect this to an aerial amplifier (sold separately) so that you can watch the 1080p RF on multiple TVs*.

*1080p Freeview TV required.

 

Any HDMI Source

Connect any HDMI device such as a Satellite Receiver, CCTV system, Blu-ray player, TV Box, etc and watch it in crystal clear Full HD 1080p over a coaxial RF system. You can also watch on many TVs using a passive splitter or an amplifier (explained below).

Can be used in existing RF systems

If you already have a Standard Definition RF distribution system but your source device is in High-Definition, just swap your existing RF modulator to this and watch in High-Definition 1080p Full HD on a DVB-T compatible TV. The cabling is the same.

Please note, the TV must be 1080p Full HD or 4K UHD (HD Ready models are not compatible).

Control your source device from any room

The amazing RF Infra-Red technology allows you to control your source device from any TV using the same coaxial cable. It includes an IR Transmitter which must be placed in front of your source device. It also includes an IR Receiver (“Magic Eye”) to allow remote control from the second TV.

Watch on Multiple TVs

Infra-Red: Requires a mains powered amplifier/splitter, also known as a bypass amplifier/splitter which can send the 9V IR Infra-Red remote control signal so that you can control the source device via remote control at every TV.

The Technomate TM-AMP B models are compatible.
Additional Infra-Red Receivers (“Magic Eyes”) are also available.
Passive Splitter: Requires a dc pass splitter to split the audio/video to multiple TVs.

Minimal Delay

The fastest in the industry! Less than 0.8s delay from the HDMI device, making channel changes super-fast. The quickest in the industry! Furthermore, if using for video only devices such as a CCTV system, this can be reduced to less than 0.5s making mouse movement extremely quick.

Crystal Clear Picture Quality

1080p Full HD at its best, giving you the same picture quality as an HDMI cable.

International

Apart from the UK Channel 21-69 frequencies, the TM-RF HD IR is also compatible with all UHF international RF systems.

Connect Multiple Sources

Can also be cascaded with up to 35 TM-RF HD IRs in one system so you can watch different devices on different TVs! Such as Satellite on TV1, another Satellite channel on TV2, CCTV on TV3, etc.

To make cascading even easier and save time, you can upload the data to a USB device and configure the settings on your PC for each TM-RF HD IR and then download those settings back into the modulator.

Installation Notes:

Compatibility: Please note that this only works on 1080p Full HD & 4K UHD TVs. If your TV is 720p HD Ready, it will not work directly however, you can use a Freeview HD box (DVB-T2 box) with the TM-RF HD IR to make it work on an HD Ready TV.

Lip Sync:

TM-RF HD IR has been tested with many devices such as Sky, Virgin, BT, Blu-ray Players, PlayStation, Xbox, and there are no issues.

Extra IR Eyes are available for multiple TVs.

Goods must be returned in an unused and unopened condition within 14 days, Return postage and any additional postage and packing charges will be within the buyer’s responsibility. Original postage and packing fees are NOT refundable.

We would advise that you enclose a cover note on the outside of the package including your order details and reason for return to ensure there are no delays with refunding your payment. When returning goods we would always recommend using a ‘signed for’ delivery service to ensure the goods arrive back safely. When the goods are received by us, we shall process the agreed refund amount within 5 days.

All products returned will be inspected to ensure they are returned in brand new condition and re-saleable condition. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced if returned to us within 14 working days, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item (Please note that the above terms does not apply to products sold as seen or without any warranty) It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us.

Faulty or damaged goods: In the unusual event that you should receive goods from us that are damaged or defective, you must notify us within 24-48 hours maximum. If a product arrives damaged or faulty, Creative Satellite Ltd reserves the right to acquire photographic evidence before progressing to resolve the problem.

Where deemed possible we will replace any faulty/damaged components rather than replacing the whole item. We will always ensure that the product received is suitable for use and of satisfactory condition, and will endeavor to solve any problem as efficiently as possible.

Satellite viewing cards are exempt from our Return Policy , at our discretion we might be able to compromise therefore please contact us first. Viewing cards must be unused and Not activated.

Due to the nature of the product, we are unable to guarantee subscription viewing cards, should the broadcaster decide to cease broadcasting or alter its programming content from those currently advertised, change schedules, satellite position, or card is misused and / or cancelled by the Broadcaster.

Viewing cards are provided strictly for domestic use only, no advice or warranty will be given for use in public houses, bars and any other commercial premises.
