Tall Sailing Ship Design
11.25" Tall ... 10.5" Wide

DESCRIPTION:
○ Cast Iron Tall Ship Door Stop - Showing three masts, 4 sails, 3 pennants, anchor, 4 Cannon Doors, 2 rope ladders all cast into the solid iron door stop.
○ Raw casting - Shows several minor 'pits' which are voids in the casting (not from weathering).
○ No Finish - The look is of raw rust patina - uniform and traditional for un-decorated door stops.
○ Good 'feet' make it stand straight - front 'toes' longer than the back 'toes' - as is typical of classic door stops.
○ Guess age to be 100+ yrs -- based on style, slight white paint marks on back, depth of patina. Classic vintage cast iron is difficult to pin down accurately with no maker's mark.
○ Weighs in around 4.75 pounds -- Shipping weight will be around 6.5 pounds or so.
CONDITION: 9.5 out of 10 -- VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION.
No major problems of any kind - no cracks or splits.
No excess 'weathering' - small surface pits are all from voids in the casting.
Clean except for very minor white paint on the reverse.
