The splayed leg spacer is designed to correct spraddle/splayed legs for Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, Quail, Peacocks, and any other type of bird. Generally, the only time spraddle/splayed leg occurs is when they're chicks. However, we understand that things can happen at any given time and we've got your back!

Things become more difficult as your chickens grow and it's harder to find ways to make corrections. Especially, when your new at raising birds but rest assured, we've got you covered. Our designs have been used by a lot of other farmers and homesteaders. They're easy to use and effective.

I have updated this listing with pictures on how to accurately measure the length of your animal's spacing. (See photos )
You do not want to measure how far away the legs currently are. You want the measurement of where they're supposed to be originally.

How to use Spacer:

Lightly wrap the leg with vet wrap before applying any of the spacers. (You want to do this to make sure the plastic doesn't irritate or rub against the chicken's leg). Put your rubber band through the entire spacer so both sides have a loop. The tricky part now is getting the rubber on the chicken with spacer. (Make adjustments to your rubber band as needed). If it's too large of a rubber band and not tight enough to hold up the spacer and stay on the chicken's legs then be sure to tighten it. Remember, the spacer is designed to help space the chicken's legs as they should be.

The standard color we print these in is gray but don't be surprised if you receive one or two or even a whole pack in a different color! Our kids are learning how to print and they call the shots on what color to run! :)
