This IR emitter can be used as part of an IR system to transmit IR commands to AV equipment that are out of sight, such as in an AV cupboard. It should be suitable for use with any IR system. Simply place the IR emitter in front of, above or below or fixed on to the IR receiver on your source device such as a Blu-Ray player or amp and any signals fed to the emitter will be blasted out to enable control.
