For sale is this super rare piano sheet music from 1857 that includes a lithograph on cover showing the grounds of the Buckingham school which was the first chartered in the State to educate young women.

The school was located north of Dillwyn off US Rt 15 in the Gold Hill and few remains are left today. Items from the school are hard to come by. Arnaud Preot came in the 1850s to teach music there and left in 1862 to teach music and later became president of the Farmville Female Seminary.
