T&M Geranium Hardy Sanguineum Stratum Garden Plants Hardy Perennial Bareroots
In stock
Geranium Hardy Sanguineum Stratum produces a delicate display of beautiful
saucer-shaped pale pink flowers decorated with delicate rose-pink veins. The
foliage forms an attractive low mound of finely cut leaves perfect for planting
at the front of borders where it will mingle with other perennials and provide
good ground cover. This variety flowers from June to august and is reliable,
versatile, and tough once established. Height: 15cm (6”). Spread: 30cm (12”).
Plant hardy geraniums in a sunny or shaded position on any
well drained soil.
Water regularly until fully established. Remove old foliage
and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous
fresh growth. In autumn, cut the foliage back completely. Apply a mulch of
well-rotted manure to the base of the plant in spring. Lift and divide hardy
geranium plants every third year to maintain their vigour.
