This is camcorder is a Hitachi VM-3150A VHS format.

We believe it is an early to mid 1980s vintage.

It comes in a aluminum sided hard case, with some accessories.

The case measures 18.5 inches wide, 13.75 inches tall, and 7 inches deep.

The case has carry handle and strap. This case has no dents, but it looks like it sat in some spilled paint, The paint got all over the strap and on one half of the bottom.

The paint does not create any structural issues with the case, and could be removed.

Accessories include:

- Operators Manual

- Audio/Video input adaptor

- Ni-cad Rechargeable Battery pack (2 -hour type)

- Ac Adaptor Charger

- Rf Converter unit

- 75-ohm coaxial cable with Antenna Adaptor

- Antenna Adaptor (300-ohm to 75-ohm)

- Shoulder strap

Accessories should also include a "Tele Conversion Lens" but it looks like this is not in the case. But it does come with a Realistic 30 Watt Camcorder Light.

We do not know if this camera is operational, we have not tested it. It would be a great addition to the inventory of a Props House. If it works even better, VHS format video tape is still available !
