This is a very rare 1901 pictorial map of The Pictorial Plan of London in the Beginning of the 20th Century. The map was a promotional piece to promote Charles Baker and Co. Ltd. (clothiers). It was undated but printed in 1897.

Chromolithograph. From the Edwardian era. It is believed to be a John Bartholomew and Sons Cartographer printing. 

It measures 31.25 x 17 inches. Condition is as shown. There is tape on the back side to keep it together (from long ago) and there is some separation on the fold lines as shown, but the entire map is there.  See photos for condition.  If I kept it I would put it in a large glassed frame. 

There is no odor of smoke, or perfume, or just age. This belonged to my paternal grandfather or one of his relatives. It was with some old photos and other family things. 

It has been priced at $900 in some listings, but I am selling this As Is.  No returns. The funds will go to my elderly 98+ year-old mother. 

I folded it back up and will ship it that way securely so it won't be damaged and it will be insured. I only unfolded it to take the photos. 

A great item for a map collector. It really is interesting to look at what it was like well over 100 years ago.
