The Kuripe pipe is a  V-shaped self-applicator pipe for giving yourself Hapé/Rapé

***Does not include the Hapé snuff.

They are designed to be filled with Hapé and to connect the mouth to the nostrils. One end placed in the mouth, one end in the nose.  By blowing it, the Hapé goes up into the nasal cavity and not drawn into the lungs.  This is the traditional way Hapé is self-administered.

Kuripes come in many shapes and sizes.  The tribes often make them from natural materials such as bamboo, wood or bone.  They can be very simple and practical or highly worked and ceremonial in nature.
