Art Nouveau Calendar from 1904, 19 x 13 ½ inches, no makers name, possibly American, original cotton cord for hanging, wear and damage to the paper covering the cardboard at the corners and along the edges, damage to the cardboard corner lower left, crease to the cardboard upper left corner, diagonal crease to the cardboard lower right corner, soiling to the front, soiling and paper damage to the back, mothball smell from storage, unusual calendar with triptych style, in the center panel an Art Nouveau woman in a diaphanous gown stands among reeds and lilies, to her left are calendar pages for the first six months with the date of 1904 at the bottom, the panel to her right has the pages for the last six months, the background design overlaps the panel edges, shades of brown and a brown cord for hanging, the lithography has a textured look imitating wood and wood inlay, very unusual.
