**********PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING DESCRIPTION BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE**********

Custom 1984-1988 Toyota Pickup Truck and 1984-1989 4Runner Gray Cup Holder in GOOD shape.

Comes with 2 mounting screws.

This is a custom application and will work just fine mounted towards the bottom of the door just like I have the one installed in my 1986 4Runner.

If you are wondering if this will work on the passenger door. Of course. Mounts exactly the same way. Just have to have 2 cup holders. One for each door.

Drilling pilot holes IS REQUIRED so the coarse threaded screws will ketch and screw in. Drill the hole about half the diameter of the screw threads.

The screws I included are the same screws you find all over the dash holding all the dash parts in place.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you do put a cup holder on a 4Runner passenger door. Just be VERY careful if the cup holder is in the DOWN position with the door close and a rear seat passenger decides to run the seat forward. The passenger front seats in the 4Runner goes forward far enough to hit this cup holder if its in the down position regardless of how far forward you mount it on the door. As long as your conscious of it and keep it folded up when not used. Shouldn't be a problem on your 4Runner passenger door.

This is a very well constructed "Genuine Toyota" folding cup holder. It is by far a lot more sturdy and heavily built then any of those folding Chinese universal cup holders floating around the internet.

The placement I have it at in my 1986 4Runner is perfect to allow the seat to move up for smaller drivers but is far enough back to be out of the way of your feet when getting in and out. I have size 13 feet, 6 foot tall and 245 pounds and I don't have trouble hitting it getting in and out. If you jump in and out like a spastic orangutan having a seizure. Then you will probably hit it.

Some models have the door panels that covers all the way to the bottom of the door. Getting your placement right is critical since getting it to low will hit the entry scuff trim. Getting it to high will interfere with cranking the window when you have bottles in the holder. On mine it was perfect just getting it almost touching the bottom edge of the door panels. If you have panels like mine. Then just do it like I did mine.

If your model has map pockets at the bottoms of the panels. You will have to eliminated them or these will NOT work on models with map pockets.

Anyone with a 1980s truck or 4Runner knows how badly you want a cup holder. This is the best solution I have some up with for my 1986 4Runner. My interior is in near perfect shape so not really an option to hack something into or on the dash.

Cup holder is genuine Toyota and when its mounted in place. It is VERY sold and sturdy just like everything else in your Toyota. The 34 ounce water bottle shown in a couple photos isn't going anywhere unless your going air born or roll your rig. It sits in there very solid. The cup holder could easily hold the weight of a gallon jug if it would fit. It is that solid.

The gray is a little different then the gray in my 4Runner, But I don't mind. Having a place to put a cup, can or bottle out weights the slight difference in the shade of gray.

eBay Lemming alert: Since this is a new custom idea here on eBay for the 1984 to 1988/89 Truck & 4Runners. It is inevitable the many Lemmings that watch and copy me here on eBay will follow suit on this idea sooner or later. I put my user ID on the mounted cup holder in my 4Runner cause some of these lazy lemmings are to lazy to take their own photos. They just cut and past my photos into their listings. I have been here on eBay for 23 years. I have a lot of Lemmings that watch and copy me all the time. They will copy this and scramble the description up a little some just copy it just as it is. Some are so dumb they will copy this lemming alert too. lol.

At the time of this listing debut October 5th 2021 here on eBay. This idea and use for this cup holder has NEVER existed here on eBay.
