Avon Turbosteel 670R16 101H XL Tyre

Avon’s Turbosteel 670R16 is a radial tyre constructed to replace the popular 670-16 crossply tyre. This crossply was a common fitment on high-performance vehicles of the 1960s. The 670R16 radial offers the benefits of a modern tyre in the style of a classic crossply.

This 670HR16 size Avon Turbosteel is an ideal tyre for: Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire 346 and Star Sapphire; Bentley Mk6 and R-Type; AC 2 Litre, Ace and Aceca; Austin A110/A120/A125/A135; Daimler Regency, One-O-Four, Majestic; Rolls Royce Silver Dawn.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are fitting this radial tyre as a replacement for a crossply tyre; pressures should be higher than those shown in the vehicle manufacturer handbook. Speak to Vintage Tyres (+ 44 1590 612261) about the correct tyre pressure for your vehicle, suggested pressure is around 36-38 psi (2.5 to 2.6 bar).
