This is a vintage, 1958, book about the adventures of a boy named "Timothy Smith" and his young lady friend, named "Nan".

The book has many illustrations.  This is the old, original, 1958 edition.  It has very sharp drawings.  It is a hardcover book.

The book is solid and very legible: a fascinating, vintage, 1958 book.  The publisher was a well-known book publisher.  There is a "Random House Reading Program" pocket on the endpaper with the publisher's  10-question "Survey" about this particular book (see pics of pink Survey in printed pocket).  It has 10 questions, such as : "What will Timothy probably do in the first chapter?"
