Lin Chien Yi (Morning Mo) looks after his elderly, ill landlord Chou Xiu Yu (Chen Shu Fang) and adopts her young grandson You Yu (Pai Run Yin). In other people's eyes, his kindness seems to go suspiciously beyond the normal tenant-landlord relationship, but this is because You Yu's late father was his partner. However, after Chou Xiu Yu passes away, Chien Yi's actions are questioned and even investigated as possible motives for crime.

Synopsis :
For the past five years, Lin has looked after the son (Yo-yu) and elderly mother (Mrs. Chou) of his deceased boyfriend (Li-wei), living together like a family. It is Lin’s way of remembering Li-wei — by continuing to be in the life he once had and loving the people he once loved.
