A collection of papers from volume XXII of Archivos Do Museu Nacional Do Rio de Janeiro. The first three papers relate to the Brazilian island of Trindade in the South Atlantic Ocean. Portuguese language. Numerous illustrations. From the private collection of Eric Kenneth Prentice 'Kenn' Back, meteorologist who worked with the British Antarctic Survey for nearly 40 years, recipient of both the Fuchs Medal and the Polar Medal, and a descendent of Sir George Back, the Arctic explorer. With Back's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper. Very scarce. Overall Condition is Very Good Minus
