The Jackal or MWMIK or Mobility Weapon-Mounted Installation Kit is a family of vehicles designed and developed by Supacat Ltd at their factory in Honiton, Devon for use by the British Army and Royal Air Force Regiment.

Jackal 2 is a high mobility weapons platform, with a unique air-bag suspension system allowing rapid movement across varying terrain. It is designed to protect personnel against roadside explosions and mine attacks (the chassis is heavier than its predecessor to give additional protection).

Supacat’s Jackal 2 in all its glory represents over 7 tons of armored reconnaissance vehicle; note the vital V-shaped hull at the front designed to reflect mine or IED blasts away from the crew. Armored plates on the sides also offer the occupants some protection from small arms. The ability of the Jackal 1 and 2 to tackle almost any terrain meant that the vehicle soon won favour with British troops serving in Afghanistan.

We also carry the British Modern Infantry Mounted, Trident 96651, for troops to ride on this Jackal 2A. (See Pics).

 Assembly required. This item is an unassembled and unpainted resin model. 1/87 (HO) Scale.

    This model is for collectors and model makers from 14 years and older. It is not a toy.

    Instructions included. (The factory photos may show it as a fully assembled and painted model).  Paint and glue not included.
