High-quality amps and effects
The WAZA-AIR features sounds and controls inherited from the KATANA Amp stage amp, allowing you to freely customize the sound. A total of five amp types are built in, offering a wide variety of characters to choose from, ranging from clean to high gain, with a wide playback range that can be used for acoustic and electric guitars and basses. You can also use more than 50 effects, including modulation, delay, and reverb, optimized for the realistic sound field of the WAZA-AIR. Up to six sounds can be stored in memory and can be immediately recalled using the buttons on the main unit.
A choice of performance environments
The WAZA-AIR allows you to select from three different sound fields for your performance environment. In Surround mode, you can reproduce the sound of a room as if you were playing through an amplifier in a studio. In static mode, the amplifier in front of you sounds as if it were in a real space, with a three-dimensional and realistic localization that matches the movement of the player's head. In stage mode, the sound of the amp can be heard from behind you, as if you were performing on stage. In Stage mode, you can hear the sound of the amplifier behind you as if you were performing on stage, creating a realistic soundscape where the sound of the amplifier actually travels through the air and reaches your ears.
