Steiff baby, bear-on-wheels
Wonderful 1907, antique, straw-stuffed, very sturdy, golden mohair, STEIFF (underscored button-in-ear) straw-filled teddy bear-on-wheels, circa 1907 with swivel head and original dark brown or black, shoe button eyes and original brown felt pads. He has a long snout with black stitched floss nose and mouth (some wear as shown). He has an endearing expression and retains his distinct hump in his back and measures about: 11 inches long, by 6 inches wide and 9 inches tall. He is in generally fair to good condition, showing overall wear to his pile and with some areas (under his chin and on one of his hips) that needs some repair where the straw is showing.
He is truly a treasure and ready for a new home, preferably with dolls as he loves their company.
