This programming kit provides quick and easy programming of various Motorola radios. This is a RIB-less set, so that no RIB is needed. Simply hook it up to your computer. This programming kit is not a straight forward cable, there is an internal converter circuit board built into it. The programming kit has a DB9F for connection to the serial port of your PC and the appropriate plugs for the specific Motorola radio model as specified below. All plugs are carefully designed moulded types. Everything is made very neatly and nicely.

1. 5. Cable features 3.5 mm mono jack is to program the following Motorola radios: AP73, GP63, GP68, GP68 Plus, GP68-8, Pacer, Spirit, etc.

The Universal Programming Set requires an external 7.5 – 9 VDC power source, which should be connected to the DC lead fitted with a moulded power adapter (single pin inside) through the supplied PP battery snap or open-wire cable. The red wire is always positive (+). The red LED on the interface box shows power, the flashing green LED shows data communication.

This Universal Programming Set is extensively tested at the time of manufacture to be free of defects. The unit does not include any manuals or instructions for use. Therefore, it is assumed that the purchaser is knowledgeable in using the unit for the applications it is designed for. Please note that we supply the hardware only, we can’t supply or support Motorola software.
