Two Tulips Frosted Clear Vase Signed Marie-Claude Lalique Dated April 4 '91 RARE

Designed, signed and dated 4-4-91 by Marie-Claude Lalique.* Stunning contemporary "Two Tulips (aka Tulipes)" vase in clear and frosted crystal in Marie-Claude's signature style. This was made just 3 years before her retirement.

The vase measures approximately 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches wide and is 4 inches tall. As noted minor scratches to the base and none to the body of the vase exterior or interior. Minor soiling to the very thin pads. Engraving is clear and easy to read.

Madame Marie-Claude Lalique retired in 1994 and passed in 2003. She was the granddaughter of Rene Lalique, founder of France's Lalique glassworks and the last in the family line of nenowed crystal craftsman.

These vases are available, but very few signed pieces come to the market. As the last of this great family of glass artisans, it is a piece worthy of any Lalique collection.
