This pattern is not the Art Deco one with the 1847 Rogers backstamp from 1933, but rather an earlier pattern with a Rogers & Hamilton mark, dating to 1900. This Marquise has a strong French influence, with elaborate swirls surrounding a beaded cartouche. Offered here is a lot of 3 servers in Marquise. The servers offered here and their approximate measurements are as follows: berry shell/casserole spoon about 8 3/4”, large serving fork about 8 1/2", sauce ladle about 6", and sugar spoon about 5 3/4". These are not pieces of new silver. They show the patina of as much as 120 years of careful use. There are the light scratches which constitute normal patina. There is no monogram. Silver is softly lustrous. There is no silver loss. The pattern is crisp and clear. These servers have been carefully used and well cared for. I polish all silver before listing on eBay.
