This classic model is carved out of a single mass of beech wood. Engraved on this model is Mount Ararat, which is a national symbol of Armenia and is considered a "Holy Mountain." According to the Book of Genesis, after the flood, Noah's ark descended on Ararat. Ararat consists of two peaks. The traditional Armenian name for the greater peak is Masis (5165 M), and the smaller one is called Sis (3925 m).

This model is hand-processed. The other side of the backgammon is designed for the game of checkers. It is varnished. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved out of one piece of wood.
