To keep & care your machine for a long time

Place your work on a fire resistance plate inside

The oven to catch any resin build up like in pictures,

If you note that there is a heavy smoke then few things you can do: leave door slightly open. There is a safety switch to u/s therefore if door is open it wont allow current in and the kiln wont run, however leaving it slightly open (not locking it) will create extra ventilation.

the other measure is after you are done with your work leave the kiln on for 30 minutes. this would allow complete burn out from the element and wont make wax or other material to build on the element

the temperature in this case is not as important as smoke and settlement of melting material on the element and creating electrical conductivity between the rows keep your work away from the back wires inside the kiln. If you are melting wax then we strongly recommend a fire resistance plate to catch any excess this fire stone is not included and you will have to pay extra if needed

The best way to have a successful Burnout set the machine to 300 then 600 and higher if needed, leave door slightly open till no smoke is visible once there no Burnout material markings on the bottom plate means you have a full Burnout and then door can be closed to get floss to desire temperature.
