How it works.

 

 

 

Mix

Work quickly to mix the moulding powder with water to make the hand moulding mix.

The mix is non-toxic and safe to use on skin.

Mould

Submerge your hands in the desired position into the moulding mix and wait for the hand mould to turn white and become firm.

Stir

Mix the hand casting powder with water to make the casting mix.

Protective gloves and a mixing spatula are provided.
 
 

How it works.

 

 

 

Pour

Pour the hand casting mix into the mould ensuring all voids are filled.

Reveal

After the couples hand casting mix has set, remove the mould from the bucket and break away the mould to reveal your hand sculpture.

Refine

Refine your finished hand casting with the pick and sandpaper provided removing any excess beads of plaster and imperfections until you're satisfied with the finished article.

Mould your hands together

After you've mixed the alginate moulding material, you will need to hold hands with your partner in the mix while it sets.

5 minutes together with no distractions.. keep still though.

Fill you holding hands mould with plaster

After removing your hands from the holding hands mold, you can now mix up the casting mix and fill the mold up.

Break away the alginate mould to reveal your finsihed hand casting

Once the plaster has sufficiently cured, it will be time to reveal you romantic couples hand casting master piece!

Enjoy your finished sculpture and unforgettable date night together

A little cleaning up together and then it's time to sit back and admire you hand casting sculpture.
