MSD Distributor -- MSD PRO-BILLET READY-TO-RUN DISTRIBUTOR, BILLET ALUMINUM, NATURAL -- Magnetic trigger, vacuum and mechanical advance type, male/HEI cap style, counterclockwise rotation, non-computer controlled compatible, no mechanical tach drive, no slip collar; A perfect upgrade for bulky DuraSpark systems or ancient breaker point models; Made from CNC-machined billet aluminum housing and billet aluminum base; Designed with advance plate and weights that are blanked from chrome moly steel and QPQ coated for friction reduction, and a polished steel shaft that is QPQ coated and guided by a sealed ball bearing; Features a maintenance-free magnetic pick-up and precision reluctor that creates stable trigger signals throughout the rpm range, a powerful built-in module that produces a 7.5 amp single spark through high rpm, and nylon pads that ensure smooth operation of that advance weights; Supplied with HEI style distributor cap and rotor; Simple and clean installation with only three wires to connect; Does not require MSD ignition control; Not for marine use; Accepts Car-A-Dapt; CARB E.O. approved.
