Vintage Tic-Tac Dough Game by Transogram.

Tic Tac Dough was a popular TV game on NBC from 1956 to 1959. This game is based on that popular show. Two players (or two groups of players) compete against each other by answering questions on nine different topics. There are two levels of questions (ages 10-14 and ages 15 to adult) provided in the game. If a correct answer is given, the player places his X or O in the square and earns $100 dollars indicated by the dial at the top of the Tic-Tac Dough Machine. If not, there is no game piece placed or money earned. Play continues back and forth. The first player to get 3-in-a-row is the winner of the round and earns the money indicated on the Money Dial. After 3 rounds, the player with the most money is the winner.

The Tic-Tac Dough Machine of this game works as it should. The question cards are in good shape and can easily be read. To play, the questions are placed in the plastic Question Box where they can easily be slid out to read. The top of the question box will need to be taped or glued to reattach it. It was played for many years this way. The Xs and Os are sturdy and in good shape. As can be seen in the photo, the play money is still stapled in the box. The box bottom has a torn corner and the lid has part of a side missing. The lid illustration shows wear, mostly on the upper section of the picture. This game was manufactured by the Transogram Company.
