Hausmann & Co. is a very high end maker ?, definitely a distributor of some of the most expensive watches made in the world. They are based in Rome, Italy and have been in business since 1794, and they are still at it today, selling brand names like Rolex, Patek Philippe, & Tudor.

This pocket watch carries the Hausmann & Co. name on the dial. And although it's not a good idea to assume anything, it's a solid bet that the works are from a reputable maker. The watch works look to be Swiss ?

but the Swiss are notorious for not marking their watch works. This watch works looks to be jeweled. It is not currently running. But the gear train is responsive. It may be a mainspring issue.

This watch is offered for restoration and/or parts.

The case is in relatively good shape. It doesn't have any major dents of scratches. The crystal bezel, back cover, and dust cover are snap closures, and they all close tightly. The crystal is in excellent condition. All the hands will need to be replaced. This watch is missing the crown and winding stem. The internal watch works are a bit loose in the case. 

This watch case is approximately 48 mm in diameter, and approximately 11 mm front to back.

If you are a collector of European pocket watches from high end watch distributors, this might be a very nice, if not interesting addition to your collection.
