Description
*Please note*
I am not a jeweler just an lover of jewelry and an avid collector of beautiful shiny things
I always endeavor to describe items honestly and to the best of my ability.
Please see below details for an unusually long coral necklace
which I think likely dates from around the Georgian or Victorian period
It is extra long in length
and is made up of rich orange coral branch beads.
It has an old yellow metal barrel clasp
(which could be brass or similar)
Condition
*Please note*
The items I list are Antique / vintage, they are therefore used and not pristine
so please do not buy with the expectation of absolute perfection,
I will always endeavor to list any faults, ect that I can see
This is in good vintage condition
*please note*
Although this is wearable,
there appears to of been a fix to the thread
at some point in time and would likely benefit from a re - thread.
(Please note the item is vintage and therefore could benefit from a light clean).
Measurements
*Please note*
all sizes and weights are listed as approximate but are measured as accurately as possible
using a ruler, vernier and scales.
I photograph items with my hand to give an idea of actual size.
The brooch measures approximately
1870mm / 187cm / 73.5" long
(from end to end including the clasp)
One of the largest coral strands measures approx
11mm / 1.1cm
one of the shortest pieces of coral measures approx
8mm / 0.8cm
It weighs approximately
113g
