Vintage Artist’s instruction manual entitled, “How To Draw the Head” by Walter Foster. Number 17. There is no copyright date listed but I believe this book is from the 1950’s. Foster Art Service, Inc. Laguna Beach, CA. Printed in USA.

“The head is the most interesting of all objects to draw. Your drawing can express joy, fear, hate, sadness and run the gamut of emotions. It is well to start with the profile, memorizing the proportions.”
