This RG6 cable is standard 7mm diameter coax and has both an aluminium shield and an aluminium braid ensuring complete shielding of the centre signal conductor. The double shield helps keep the unwanted signals out and the good signals in. The centre conductor is made from copper. The cable has solid foam dielectric (the white bit around the centre core) and doesn't allow water to penetrate and run down the cable.
